World’s First Modular Gaming Mouse With OLED Display & Tactile Alerts
SteelSeries Launched a new mouse called the Rival 700, they claims to be the ‘world’s first modular gaming mouse with OLED display and tactile alerts’. The SteelSeries Rival 700 is a fancy gaming mouse for playing video games.
The new Rival 700 gaming mouse, first seen at CES in January, the good news is that it will now be available for gamers to purchase. It is priced at $100 that is admittedly pricey, but then again this is what we might expect from gaming mice. It will be launched in Asia and Europe in the next few weeks.
Actually it’s not “just a mouse” because SteelSeries has kind of gone wild here. Instead of usual gamer perks like weights and modularity, SteelSeries has added a vibration motor to the mouse, that you can customize to alert you to in-game events like when your cool-downs are up. SteelSeries swears the vibrations won’t affect your aim.
There are a number of key features that sets the SteelSeries Rival 700 gaming mouse out from the crowd, like OLED display, Tactile alerts and Customisation of both the device’s hardware and software.
This screen will show gamers stats about their games, like in-game stats or it can be used to display your team’s logo. If you like keeping track of stats, glancing at your mouse will be a quick way of doing just that. It will allow users to tweak the mouse’s settings without having to open its software.
For appearances the OLED display also used for display GIF animation logo and for complementing the customisable SteelSeries Prism RGB illumination. As usual with SteelSeries, the full depth of technology parameter and appearance customization takes place inside the SteelSeries Engine 3 software on your PC.
