Optoma Released The Latest Addition To Its ProScene Projector Range – The WU630
The new WU630 is the latest addition of Optoma to their ProScene range. A projector designed for professional AV market. Native WUXGA resolution and 6000 lumens combine with a 4400:1 contrast ratio to deliver sharp, punchy images.
The range of objectives includes five opts of high quality, large focus through a zoom lens extra-long, allowing that it can be adapted to almost any type of installation. Motorized lens shift, zoom and focus ensures simple, stress-free installation, while the 3 position lens memory allows for quick and easy scene changes.
The WU630 includes connectivity for HDMI, 5 BNC and DVI-D, while it has RS-232 or LAN connections for the remote control. The remote control unit has backlit keys for easy operation, even in the dimly-lit environments. Certified for 24/7 operation, the projector supports 360° installation (across its vertical axis), so it is capable of projecting directly onto a floor or ceiling. It offers support for Crestron RoomView and PJLink, that allows centralized monitoring and control of most of the functions of the projector.
Superb picture quality is at the heart of every ProScene product. At every step, commencing with the incredibly reliable, high resolution WUXGA DLP chip, where the picture is initially created via the powerful Philips UHP projection lamp, through to the precision optics that focus the image on the screen, accuracy and integrity of the image are paramount.
For video conferencing or other collaborative applications, the new WU630 supports picture-by-picture and picture-in-picture. Signals can be delivered simultaneously via the DVI and HDMI ports, for a PbP or PiP display from two digital sources.
The WU630 is available now and you can be obtained through Optoma’s network of authorised ProScene partners.
