Samsung Galaxy S7 Getting Android Nougat Update

In January, Samsung has announced that the Samsung Galaxy S7 smartphone will get Android Nougat update very soon. And now the long awaited Android Nougat update for the Galaxy S7 smartphone is now being rolled out by AT&T in the United States. There are some major appearance changes and improvements in performance after the updating OS. The update weighs 1.6 GB is an over-the-air (OTA) one.

The smartphone has a 5.1 inches Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with the screen resolution of 1440 × 2560 pixels at 577 ppi pixel density. The device is protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 4 that saves your phone to screen damage.

Previously, the smartphone runs the Android 6.0 Marshmallow but now it is updated to the Android Nougat, and the update is rolling out now, so update your phone to the latest version of Operating system. The phone is powered by the Exynos 8890 octa-core processor coupled with Mali T880 MP12 graphic processor. The smartphone is equipped with 4GB of high speed RAM and come with two storage options, either a 32GB or 64GB storage model.

As far as the cameras concerned, the phone packs a 12 megapixel rear camera on the back of the device and 5 megapixel front facing camera for selfie lovers. The device boasts a 3,000mAh non-removable Li-ion battery that lasts up to 22 hours of usage. The phone also supports Quick Charge 2.0, you can get 60 percent charge in just 30 minutes, the company claims.

The connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2 and microUSB 2.0 port for both purpose, charging and data transfer. The smartphone is available in five color options: Black, White, Gold, Silver and Pink Gold.
