LG Unveiled A Brand New Series Of Portable Bluetooth Speakers
LG has just announced that it will debut not two, not three, but four new speakers offering 360-degree sound at the show: the PH1, PH2, PH3, and PH4 – each promising to “deliver the ideal audio solution” in situations where your smartphone speaker just doesn’t cut it.
LG PH1 Speaker:
The speakers which come in different shapes are also splash proof. First up, the new PH1 features built-in mood lighting and a 5 hour battery. It is lightweight and portable with Bluetooth and comes with the hands-free speakerphone capabilities. LG says that the speaker can also be doubled up as a night lamp.
LG PH2 Speaker:
The smallest of the speakers, the PH2 resembles a hockey puck and a style we have seen used in speakers from other manufacturers. It is also splash-proof, lightweight, and includes a carrying strap, a combination that makes it perfectly for being carried on the go. It’s not exactly a powerhouse — no speaker this size really can be — but LG claims that the 2.5-watt amplifier can still gives plenty of bass for a speaker in this form factor. Battery life is claimed as up to 6 hours.
LG PH3 Speaker:
With a candle-like design, the LG PH3 features five multicolored lighting modes, definitely being an indoor speaker. This device is large enough to accommodate a battery which lasts up to 10 hours.
LG PH4 Speaker:
The PH4 returns to design sensibilities we have seen before, similar to the JBL Flip, UE Boom, and other cup holder-friendly speakers. This model happens to be the loudest and largest, packing a 16-watt amplifier. It dual passive radiators make this speaker the best equipped for the bass, and the larger size means that despite beefed-up amp, it still offers up to 10 hours of music.
The company is not yet sharing details about the pricing of these speakers, but all four models are planned to launch in the U.S. this fall.
