Bose has released yet another addition to their SoundLink line of Bluetooth speakers
Audio behemoth Bose just unveiled two all-new portable Bluetooth speakers, aptly-named the SoundLink Revolve ($199) and Revolve+ ($299), promise full-range sound thanks to the ‘efficient transducer’ and ‘dual passive radiators’ to ensure deep, vibration-free bass.
Bose SoundLink Revolve and Revolve+ Design
Bose SoundLink Revolve and Revolve+, both feature aluminum, cylindrical designs and — like the popular UE Boom line — play 360-degree, omnidirectional audio. They’re also built with soft bumpers on the top as well as bottom so knocking them over, and chuckling them in a bag or setting them down firmly will not have you frantically checking the warranty. They’re built to be at home in any environment and come IPX4-rated to withstand spills, rain, and pool splashes. There is even a quarter-twenty thread on the bottom of the speaker, enabling it to easily be mounted onto a tripod.
The primary variations between the two audio system are length and battery life. The SoundLink Revolve measures around 6 inches tall; where as the Revolve+ is 7.2 inches along with a larger diameter and consists of a non-detachable fabric handle for the easy carrying.
Bose SoundLink Revolve and Revolve+ Features
Both Bluetooth speaker features the same dual-opposing passive radiators that make the speakers sound stronger than it looks. Along with NFC for the easy pairing with smartphones as well as a microphone that turns the speakers into a two-way communication device. The SoundLink Revolve can run for up to 12 hrs, whereas the Revolve+ version extends that to 16 hrs. Two speakers can be joined wirelessly for a wider stereo soundstage. Both speakers feature Bose’s trademark sound quality with clarity and deep bass.
