Kerava biopower plant starts its productional operation in the end of 2009 - Formia has delivered complete biofuel handling system for the plant, worth around 4 million euro (quotation of Enertec 2/2009 article issued in Finnish) "Kerava's new biopower plant in Finland strengthens local energy production by generating heat and power with woodchips, stubs and peat. Formia has designed and manufactured the complete solid fuel handling system for the plant, consisting of fuel receiving and transfer all the way up to the boiler silo. Also receiving hall and screening building are included in the delivery. The contract was made in December 2007 and installation started in winter 2008/2009. Formia Vesme's part of the contract is worth around 4 million euro. In August 2009 the handling system was ready installed and in testing stage." See Enertec 2/2009 article (in Finnish) |
