Formia Vesme Oy delivers automatic materials handling solutions for environmental and energy technology companies, the paper industry, automation companies and construction industry. Furthermore, the Center of Excellence also serves its selected engineering customers as a system provider concentrating on project management, instrumentation, assembly and testing.

We operate from 7,000 square meter production and office premises in Kauhajoki, Finland. We serve our clients in projects related to materials handling and production chain logistics. Vesme systems include standard products, special solutions where the standard methods are not enough, and devices and machineries that are developed in cooperation with the customer. With the help of computer simulations, that are produced quickly and with low costs, it is easy to examine the features of a production line. It gives as reliable a picture as a real line and points out the system's weaknesses quickly as well as helps optimising the capacity. The simulation is suitable for both analysing new deliveries and updating ageing systems.

We also produce installation, maintenance and usability services. Formia Vesme is a competitive system provider, who is able and willing to take full responsibiliy for completing the project, with long international experience.

Our key clients include companies such as Fortum in environmental and energy technology segment; Stora Enso, UPM, M Real, Portucel Soporcel Group and Torraspapel in the paper industry; Siemens, Dematic, Done and Octomeca in automation sector; Saint-Gobain Isover, Paroc and Minerit in construction industry as well as Metso, Andritz, ABB and Wärtsilä in engineering sector.
