Buick Announced The 2017 Enclave Sport Touring Edition
Buick released the newest Sport Touring Edition for the 2017 Enclave SUV ahead of its own official debut at last month 2016 New York auto show. Like the other models, the 2017 Buick Enclave Sport Touring Edition gets some cosmetic tweaks, but little else, its main distinguishing features are a Satin Black Ice grille and 20-inch wheels, also finished in Satin Black Ice. That’s mean it reaches the fairly low bar set by the Regal, Verano, and LaCrosse Sport Touring models, while Encore Sport Touring at least gets a more powerful 1.4-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine.
Available in three colors (Crimson Red Metallic, White Frost Tricoat, and Ebony Twilight Metallic), the Enclave Sport Touring Edition is offered in two specifications: Premium Group (1SN) and Leather Group (1SL). In terms of standard goodies, this particular Enclave comes out with all the equipment you could wish for in such a car.
The 2017 Buick Enclave Sport Touring Edition version can be obtained just simply on Enclaves outfitted with the Premium trim levels or the Leather. The inside is otherwise exactly the same to the other Buick Enclave versions, giving seats for up to eight passengers to it.
For the Enclave, buyers are limited to a 3.6-liter V-6 good for 288 horsepower. And a 6-speed automatic is the sole transmission but the buyers have the choice of front- or all-wheel drive.
Pricing hasn’t been announced at the time of writing, but this new edition of the Enclave should not exceed $50,000 in front-wheel-drive and Leather Group guise. If that’s too much money, the new Buick Envision should be a great alternative.
